Whooa, tackling this monster in my studio.

This dark ugly monstrous built in bookcase is what is going on in my studio. My goal is finishing it tomorrow. 1 coat of primer, 2 coats of white paint. I am not going to sand.

Hope to be able to post the final tomorrow.

Simple but working

I am having fun with pattern making. I feel like this is kind of simple. But why not. Simple is good.

Snow is no way

I finally post about my new story, Snow Is No Way. The illustrated manuscript has been finished recently and brought to the NJ SCBWI conference. The feedback...? HAHA. Some people liked it. Anyway, I just started to submit this, and this is the show piece.

The very first pattern attempt

Since I was shocked by Surtex last year, my interest in surface design had been only grown.

I am still learning techniques, and this is totally hand positioned...

The idea behind was who knows the delicious apples. I don't know who would be interested in apples with worms pattern, but it's fun for me.

Anyway this is my official first attempt.
